Term 2

Term 2 raced by and with each passing week, the projects became increasingly challenging.

Week 1 was fingerprint jewellery, which isn’t really my thing, but it was great to learn the technique. Although I was looking forward to week 2, it did not go as planned. I found the paper clay very difficult to work with - as did the majority of my course mates. Thankfully the marking for this week was not as strict as other weeks as the tutors saw nearly everybody struggled (more in the week 2 blog). From week 3 onwards, I really got my mojo back and enjoyed the projects - even if they didn’t quite turn out as expected.

The high marks this term has boosted my confidence and motivation as we head into the final term of masterclasses including enamelling, lidded vessels and our end of year project.
