Eye of Horus cuff

This is my apprentice piece. Hand carved eye in lapis lazuli, inlaid with and into fine silver with a made-to-measure sterling silver cuff.

Everything went wrong with this, and it is likely to explode at some point; the stone has now cracked too. But I love it and I wear it every day.

Eventually the stone came very loose, so rather than risk losing some or all of it, I took it apart and re-made it. The back plate needed bracing as the bend in the cuff was putting pressure on the stone. At last it is stable and I love it more.
